A Sacred Vocation
Throughout Scripture, God positioned women at the threshold of life. The Hebrew midwives Shiphrah and Puah defied Pharaoh to protect life. Birth attendants have always been guardians of the sacred.
Kingdom Birth Centers understands midwifery as a continuation of this calling. Our midwives are not simply healthcare providers—they are servants of God stationed at one of life's most holy moments.
This requires both excellent clinical skill and mature spiritual formation. We do not separate the two. A midwife must be competent in the physical care of mother and baby while also being equipped to pray, discern, and minister.

How We Form Midwives
Clinical Excellence
Our training develops thorough competency in prenatal care, birth attendance, and postpartum support. We train to international standards, ensuring our midwives can provide safe, skilled care in any setting.
Spiritual Maturity
Skill without spiritual depth is insufficient for this work. We form midwives in prayer, discernment, pastoral care, and spiritual warfare. They must be women who walk with God and can minister His presence.
Servant Leadership
Midwifery is service. Our midwives are trained in humility, honor, and the posture of a servant. They do not dominate or control but come alongside mothers as helpers, advocates, and encouragers.
Accountability and Holiness
The intimacy of birth requires integrity. Our midwives are held to standards of character, accountability, and holiness. They serve under spiritual covering and within community, never as isolated practitioners.
Training the Next Generation
Kingdom Birth Centers is committed to raising up midwives from the communities we serve. We believe local women, formed in both skill and spirit, are best positioned to serve their neighbors.
Dignified Vocation
Midwifery provides women with a meaningful vocation—one that serves their community, honors their gifts, and provides sustainable livelihood. We believe this work should be compensated with dignity, allowing midwives to serve without economic hardship.
As we train midwives, we are also building economic stability for women and their families. This is not charity but investment in human flourishing.
